Cuba is Alive: Idea Generation Gallery, London

Cuba is Alive documents an intimate and peaceful view of Cuban culture. The black and white photographs, captured with film, describe quietly beautiful landscapes and captures the Cuban people in the midst of their daily routine and seem refreshingly unperturbed by, almost unaware of, the artist's presence. Konstantakou is preoccupied with ideas of passion, warmth and freedom, manifest most explicitly in her intimate portraits of the nation's citizens.
